Krishan is a 13 year old boy who has faced many struggles in life. He told us that his father left him alone in city of Khanna by tricking him. At that time, both of Krishan’s legs were broken, but he had never received any treatment. He said he had fallen down the stairs at home, but his father didn’t take him to a doctor.

One day, his father took him out, saying it was for a treatment, but instead, he abandoned him in Khanna and never returned. For the next eight months, Krishan survived by begging on the streets. He is not from Punjab and only speaks Hindi which made things even harder for him

When we found out about his situation, we brought Krishan to safety. We have not been able to find his home or any family members- there is not information about his mother, father, brothers, or sisters. Aftercoming to us, Krishan finally received the medical care he needed. Now, he is resting and healing. In a few more months, he will be able to walk again on his own.
