This story is regarding Bhinder Singh. He is the second member of the ashram. He is from village Pamala, Ludhiana. These were two brothers, both were farmers, well-settled, had acres of land and was a well known ‘Jamindar’ in his good times. But he became a victim of drugs and lost all his wealth. All his land got sold. His brother cheated him and left him on roadside. We found him homeless near Rajinder Hospital, Patiala. He wasn’t even able to stand properly and used to urinate and poop in his pyjama itself. If somebody gave him food he used to eat while lying down there on roadside. He had wounds on his legs which were infested with worms. Now he is in better condition and is able to do his daily routine by himself and can make his own bed.
